  2. Summary of wind energy • Wind energy is a renewable energy source using the wind to create electricity. We use wind turbines to create the electricity.

  3. How Does It Work? • Well, the wind blows the blades making a metal rod inside turn to turn the generator inside the turbine to form electricity then moves the electricity into a wire which sends the electricity to a grid or your home.

  4. Good thingsabout wind energy • It’s a renewable energy source. • Since the wind turbines are so tall, they produce a • lot of energy.

  5. Bad things aboutwind energy - If there is no wind you can’t create electricity. - In the summer there isn’t that much wind
