Degraded Image. Zach Miller. Steps 1 and 2. 1 – Edit in Lightroom globally (brightness, contrast, saturation, temperature, cropping) 2 – Edit in Photoshop selectively (skin smoothing, color, luminosity, clarity) Did both of these as if it was an image I would be turning in for an assignment.

  2. Steps 1 and 2 • 1 – Edit in Lightroom globally (brightness, contrast, saturation, temperature, cropping) • 2 – Edit in Photoshop selectively (skin smoothing, color, luminosity, clarity) • Did both of these as if it was an image I would be turning in for an assignment

  3. Step 3 • Get 3 friends to tell me what celebrity is attractive to them, and include my own to total 4 • Came up with Anne Hathaway, Kate Upton, Beyonce, and Angelina Jolie • Find pictures of them on the internet and cut out one feature (eyes, nose, mouth) from each

  4. Step 4 • Paste these features individually onto the image that was edited in steps 1 and 2

  5. Step 5 • Resize the attributes to fit • Smooth them into the image to make it look as realistic as possible

  6. Step 6 • Change the image to black and white • Export and convert to a jpeg

  7. Step 7 • Print image from a crappy printer in Katherine Harper Hall

  8. Step 8 • Draw the outline onto a new sheet of paper

  9. Step 9 • Paint to make as realistic as possible (as frustration set in I realized it was never going to look like I intended)

  10. Step 10 • Add as much paint as possible to cover up what looks like a dumb child’s finger-painting of frankenwoman

  11. Step 11 • Stick the tip of your finger in the paint • Leave a fingerprint on your laptop
