The eLINK project in Bhutan has successfully enhanced academic mobility among its community, involving a total of 30 participants, including 12 undergraduates and 10 postgraduates, along with 8 academic staff members. The project focuses on faculty capacity building, encouraging student and faculty exchange, and fostering long-term relationships within an educational network. The initiative has spurred enthusiasm for participating in further Erasmus-Mundus projects and is yielding positive outcomes in capacity building and intercultural understanding, contributing to a vibrant learning community.

Conclusion • The ELINK Project is seen as a success story by RUB • Encouraged the University to apply to two other Eramus-Mundus projects • Expected to achieve good results – have positive impact on capacity building, building lasting relationships with partner universities, learning from the best practices of other universities, understand and appreciate EU countries better, foster good person-to-person relations • Good experience and happy to be a partner • Thanks to EU and partner universities for support and cooperation
