Student Broadcasting Roles at Moody Elementary School
At Moody Elementary School, students engage in various roles for our broadcasting team, following a rotating schedule. While anchors and reporters take center stage, other team members focus on upcoming stories, sponsor letters, and video montages. Anchors work in pairs to gather information from school and district sources, writing and revising scripts in PowerPoint. Reporters also collaborate in pairs, brainstorming and producing special features. Everyone learns the importance of proper attire on filming days, as well as technical skills like camera operation and teleprompter management, contributing to the polished final newscast.
