  2. Day 1. Sep. 5- Introductory meeting for delegation members- Dinner hosted by NSP counterpart Friendly discussion was carried out with Prof. Li Fasheng (CRAES) and Mr Zhang Shanling (MEP)

  3. Day 2. Sep. 6- Official discussion with CRAES and MEP on the future cooperation with NSP Possibilities for demonstration project between NSP and CRAES were discussed. Details see the presentation document from CRAES

  4. Day 2. Sep. 6- NSP delegation was received officially by the vice Governor of Gansu Province – Mr Hao Yuan Governor Hao delivered a warm welcome speech, he mentioned the challenges Gansu is facing at this stage of development. He is very glad to hear that NSP could offer assistance for Gansu to achieve a sustainable development.

  5. Day 3. Sep. 7Official Signing ceremony of General Collaboration Agreement on the Creation of the Sino-Dutch Technology Transfer Center (TTC) on the Management of Industrial Polluted Agricultural Soils in Arid and Semi-Arid Regions in China

  6. Day 3. Sep. 7- Workshop and Match Making between NSP delegation and Gansu various departments Gansu Agriculture Academy of Science, Lanzhou Jiaotong University, Gansu Water resource Research Institute, Gansu Environmental Research Academy of Science, Jinqiao environment Ltd. And so on participated the workshop.

  7. Day 4. Sep. 8First site visit: Yongdeng County Waste water irrigationcausesproductivitydecreses and possiblerisksforhumanhabitation via the agriculture product.

  8. Day 4. Sep. 8Second site visit: Baiyin City Agriculture site contaminatedbyfluorineanoother heavy metals. Possible research project and investigationfor the best possibilitiesfortreatment.

Sep. 9Discussionwith GAAS on the next steps cooperation NSP delegates carried out a detailed descussion on the fileds of cooperation and time frame of the cooperation Details see the working documents: • The plan for TTC from GAAS • Description of potential projects • Working Matrix and Explanatory note of matrix
