Weekly Progress on Research: Reading, Code Review, and Implementation Updates

This week, I focused on several key activities to advance my research project. I continued reading Kane’s book for foundational knowledge and reviewed Steve’s thesis to formulate pertinent questions. Additionally, I examined Jeff’s MATLAB code case by case to enhance understanding. I also began understanding DVC’s implementation, specifically working on nonlinear friction which remains unfinished. Next week, my goals include completing the implementation of nonlinear friction and starting on Binh’s method for further development.
