  2. Why Micronutrients … Ca B Micronutrients involve in different vital plant physiological activities. Micronutrients can enhance plant growth and stress tolerance. They should be absorbed into the plant and transported where they can do their job. Otherwise, deficiencies will appear. S Fe Fertilisers Normal Mn Cu ZN Mo K Mg N P

  3. Forms Foliar feeding Fast way of getting nutrients into plants compared with soil application. Especially important for the correction of nutrient deficiencies and the addition of micronutrients. Micronutrients come in many different forms that affect their solubility and reaction (salts, oxides, chelates) in water and their uptake and usage by plants. Chelation is a term that describes an encapsulation process. Chelates (chel”, meaning a crab’s claw in Greek) are molecules with a neutral charge.

  4. Fulvates – for organic chelation Production of Fulvates and Humates • Humus / PeatyCoal • Organic Humate • Soil Application • Humic Acids (liquid) • K-humate • Soil/Foliar Application • Fulvic Acids (liquid) • K-fulvate • Foliar Application Humins (solid) Talk to us. It pays.

  5. Plant Vegetation Decomposition Humus Carbon 68 % Oxygen 22 % Hydrogen 6 % slow Fulvic Acids Carbon 43 % Oxygen 50 % Hydrogen 5 % HumicAcids Carbon 52 % Oxygen 40 % Hydrogen 5 % slow Talk to us. It pays.

  6. Benefits of Fulvic acids One of the ingredients of Omnia’s mate ranges is Fulvate Talk to us. It pays. Web: www.omnia.com.au

  7. When and where • Any Foliar application to :- • improve plant responses • improve tank mix compatibility • reduce burning effects from ‘hot’ spray mixes • May be used regularly in fertigation applications Carboxylic Acid Hydroxyl Groups Ketone Phenolic Structure of Fulvates

  8. Omnia’s special  Organic Chelated formulas Beside the fulvates, there are other organic chelating agents in Omnia’s Mate ranges. The products are unique to Omnia. These ingredients enhance uptake of nutrients. Omnia’s unique organic chelating formula Talk to us. It pays.

  9. BUNCH OF MATES Omnia’s multi Mate ranges are organically chelated with Fulvates and Other unique organic chelating agents Fulvates comprises both small and big molecules This enables both fast and extended uptake of micronutrients Includes all micronutrients Talk to us. It pays.

  19. Literature …(from reputable journals) Postbloom Humic- and Fulvic-based Zinc Sprays Can Improve Apple Zinc Nutrition G.H. Neilsen, E.J. Hogue, D. Neilsen and P. Bowen HortScience February 2005 vol. 40 no. 1 205-208 Zinc supplied as a fulvic-based Zn compound was absorbed and retranslocated to unsprayed new growth as effectively as zinc sulphate in apple seedlings of low Zn status grown hydroponically in the greenhouse. Similarly, fulvic- and humic-based compounds were as effective as zinc sulphate at improving short-term growth and Zn uptake into new tissues in Zn-deficient apple seedlings, with the best growth occurring at spray concentrations of Zn at 500 mg·L-1. Under field conditions, Zn concentration of peeled and washed `Jonagold' apples at harvest was increased, without phytotoxicity, by two or four postbloom sprays of fulvic Zn. It is therefore possible to use this material safely as an effective Zn-source after bloom. Talk to us. It pays.
