  2. TO INCREASE THE INTEREST OF STUDENTS IN READING URDU BY INTERESTING ACTIVITIES IN CLASS. LONG TERM GOAL

  3. TO CORRECT THE URDU PRONUNCIATION • TO CLARIFY THE MEANINGS OF THE DIFFICULT WORDS. • TO USE THE DIFFICULT WORDS IN SENTENCES MAKING. SHORT TERM GOAL

  4. AUTOBIOGRAPHY: The students would be allowed to wear the masks, to relate to the feelings of the proposed title. • COMPOUND WORDS: By using the flash cards the practice of compound words will be given. • A picture to be adjusted on the wall consisting many objects related to compound words and the students will make efforts to make compound –words by using the hints. • The practice of prefix e.g. un-known (un) is prefix and this is the most important syllable. • Jumbled Letters Arrangement of letters to compose difficult words. To bring the letters in order the students will be required to adjust the letters scientifically in order to make new words. ACTIVITIES

  5. Story writing with Urdu being the mother tongue is easier for the students as they are able to relate incidents. They can be asked to write a story which they have experienced in their own lives, in simple words. ACTIVITIES continued

CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONs CHALLENGE • Slow Learners • Undertaking of Easy Urdu Students SOLUTION • By giving them Extra support class in free periods. • Easy Urdu students are first taught the basics and then the child is guided separately by making the same syllabus topics easier to understand.

  8. Task: Writing a story Strategy: Students to bring a story Ask students to read the story To tell the same story in their own words. The second step will be to ask students to make a mind map. Divide the ideas into beginning, content and ending of the story. Give exemplary vocabulary support for error free creative writing. Make students read the best stories in the assembly area.   11. AapBeeti (Autobiography) SKILLS Critical thinking: We develop this skill in 21st century. Creativity and Intellectual curiosity. 2nd Level: Understanding to develop the topic. I gave them the masks of different animals and trees and ask them to tell the auto biography and after that. 3rd Level Is achieved by giving them the task to write the auto biography of a tree. 4th level: Is achieved by reading the three best auto biographies in the class to make the children analyze the format of autobiography. APPROACHES Students work on activities & projects connected to my long-term goals aimed at building deep conceptual under standing and proficient strategy use. CHALLENGES 1- Availability of the material 2- Difficult for this age level to conceptualize themselves as that particular object with their writing. • RESOURCES • Chart papers • Flash cards • Different pictures TECHNIQUES 1-1st level: Remembering: By asking them about different objects How will they tell about it from beginning till the end.
