  1. Evolution of Cars By Leo, Adam, Anders and Can

  2. The First Cars The history of cars

  3. The First Car The history of cars begins in 1769. The creation of steam engine allows the transportation with machines possible. In 1806, the first cars powered by an internal combustion engine running on fuel gas appeared. But there wasn’t the car to put the engine on.

  4. 18th century • Ferndinand Verbiest, a member of a Jesuit mission in China, built the first steam-powered car around 1672, made as a toy for the emperor, it being of small scale and unable to carry a driver or passenger but, quite possibly, the first working steam-powered vehicle.

  5. 19th century Steam-powered self-moving vehicles large enough to transport people and cargo were first made in the late 18th century(this car above is the first car, which can go 5 kilometers per hour. But the power was extremely strong.). Nicolas demonstrated his fardier a vapeur, an experimental steam-driven artillery tractor, in 1770 and 1771. As Cugnot's design proved to be impractical, his invention was not developed in his native France. The centre of attention shifted to Britain. 1784, William Murdoch had built a working model of a steam carriage in Redruth, and in 1801 Richard Trevithick was running a full-sized vehicle on the road in Camborne. Such vehicles were in vogue for a time, and over the next decades such innovations as hand brakes, multi-speed transmissions, and better steering developed.

  6. 20th century • In the 19th century the Ford country made a new model named “Model T” This was a big hit in the world for its light weight giving it more speed to get to places sooner. Ford then got More cars to be produced in France, Germany, Denmark Britain and more. This was amazing for the people back then.

  7. Modern Cars • There are more and cooler sorts of car these days. Jeep, SUV, RV< limousines, and other cooler cars. Cars are also used for sports. Sport cars can go really fast due to the special engine. Cars pollute the environment, so this electricity car was invented. It doesn’t produce gas because it doesn’t burn anything. Also, car is not just for transporting people. Buses and other sorts of some other cars are for transporting people, but fire trucks are for putting out fire. Bulldozers can get rid of piles of sand. Nowadays we use cars or special purposes like this.

  8. Future Cars • In the future, there would be hover cars which hovers by these places at the bottom of the car that shoots out air. So you would not need wheels. There will be cars running by solar power as it has solar panels attached. There would be taxis that doesn’t need a driver. Other special programs would be invented.
