Make sure you tell them a little bit about the story and why they might like it. Vocabulary: Find four new words and write down their meaning. Grade 2 HomeworkDue Date: Tuesday 28th of May Please remember to write which activity you have completed in your homework book and have your parents sign it.Please ask your teacher for support if you are unsure of something. • Maths • Select one task to complete: • Addition & subtraction: explain two different addition or subtraction strategies to someone in your family. For example: using doubles, tens mates, splitting, rounding, a number line, bridging etc. • Help mum or dad in the kitchen to measure the ingredients when you are • cooking together. Personal Learning Select one task to complete: Share a goal you are working on at school. Write down two things that you are doing to try and achieve this goal. Show your confidence by taking a risk and talking to someone you don’t usually talk to. Write down what happened and how it made you feel.
