Throughout our history, our state governments have created some pretty crazy laws! Here are some examples of laws in the United States. Some of these laws are still on the books and some have been repealed (they no longer exist).
Housewives are not allowed to break more than three dishes a day. FLORIDA
Infants cannot dance in public halls. LOS ANGELES
It is illegal to slurp soup. NEW JERSEY
It is against the law for a horse to eat a fire hydrant. IOWA
It is illegal to wipe down your car with used underwear. SAN FRANCISCO
