Art 9 - McClungInterior Design (1-point perspective) • Objectives: • Understand the definition of perspective • Understand and practice using basic perspective techniques • Eye level • Horizon line • Vanishing point • Build objects from squares/cubes • Draw a creative, accurate interior space including • At least 2 wall/ceiling decorations • Window, door, doorway into another room/hallway, posters, artwork, etc. • At least 4 pieces of furniture • Tables, chairs, bed, desk, dresser, cabinet, sofa, bookshelf, etc. • Bonus: accessories • Ceiling fan, lamps, plants, stairway, appliances, etc. • Add value to the interior design (Bonus: use colored pencils) • Choose a light source and add shadows • Develop shading techniques
