Strategic Context • Our Army is undergoing the largest organizational change since World War II • Transform to a Brigade-centric, modular force • Restations ~1/3 of the Army by end of FY 2011 • Impacts 380K Soldiers and Families members • Affects 304 installations/locations • Grow by 74.2K • Constructing 743 projects from FY06-13 - - $66.4B • Constructing 20 Brigade Complexes; 69,000 Barracks spaces; 4,100 Family Housing Units; 66 Child Development Centers +74K

  5. How We’re Doing It • $0.8B Awarded in FY06 (11 Projects) • $3.4B Awarded in FY07 (61 Projects) October 2007 November 2006 Ft. Carson Brigade / Battalion HQ Facilities • $3.3B is planned for FY08 (90 Projects) • $3.8B is planned for FY09 (83 Projects) • $1.8B is programmed in FY 10 (72 Projects)
