  3. 10 types of plagiarism • The ghost writer: To copy other people's write work  for his/her ownThe labor of laziness: Takes time to paraphrase the work from different sources and make it fit togetherThe forgotten footnote: Names the author, but did not include specific informationThe misinformer: inaccurate sourcesThe perfect crime: Quote sites some place but goes on to paraphrase other arguments without sitingStyle : Copying someone’s style of writing to write your ownIdea : Copying someone’s idea of the story and summiting as your ownCopy/Paste : This is very similar to Ghost Writer but Ghost writer copies the whole thing but Copy/Paste is only one part of the story/work.Self-plagiarism: Using ones work and re-write itInproperParaphase : You change the words but it is still looks very similar to the original

(No consequences, just arguement)Stephen Ambrose- Passages on his book. (Got send to Goodwin to speak on James Madison Day.)Bolly wood- Movies are usually copying hollywood movies. (No consequences)

  5. Avoiding plagiarism • To avoid plagiarism, you have to cite the resource you get your information from. When copying a paragraph or a quote from a website, you also have to put quotation marks around it too. You also cant copy word to word from a text in a website.

  6. Conclusion • Plagiarism is something you should avoid, if you don’t, you might get punished. So for the best, don’t copy text from websites, and also don’t forget to cite your resources.
