  2. Hungary is in the middle of Europe The capital city is Budapest. The country is a member of European Unio.

  3. People There are 10 million people in Hungary.They are kind,quiet and hospitable. Hungarian women are beautiful and they cook very good.

Greeting in Hungary Hungarian men shake hands, when they meet each other, women kiss on each other on the cheek, but when they meet for the first time they shake hands.In the family, we kiss on each other on the cheeks. The children always say Good morning or Good afternoon at that time of the day to teachers.

  5. Weather This country is in the continental zone. There are 4 season: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Summer is hot, Winter is cold. The average temperature is between 9 and 12C

  6. F o o d s There are 5 meals a day.People in Hungary often have toast with butter for breakfast or cereals with milk.They drink tea and sometimes they have British breakfast.Lunch is a primal meal, therefore people have lunch break. They eat a soup and second foods,sometimes a dessert. dinner is a light meal they eat salad or sandwich. National special food: - Goulash soup - Fish soup - ”Gundel” pancake - Chicken soup „Újházi ” stlye - Stuffed cobbage - Poppy cerscrent National special drinks: - Tokaji aszú - Egri bikavér - Fütyölős

  7. Symbols of Hungary A lot of people come here, because there are many sights in this country. For example: - Parliement - Hortobágy and a kilenclyukú bridge - Chain - bridge - Overdose the horse - Yellow tram - Soproni beer - Erős pista - The surname forego the forename

  8. Traffic There are a lot of means of transport: trams, buses, metros, „hév”.But it is not too popular so the people go everywhere by car at why environmental pollution is high. Usually there is a traffic jam and the drivers are not very tolerant so sometimes there are some accidents.They drive on the right.

  9. Shopping The most of the people buy foods in the supermarket. And they buy their clothes in departmentstores,”stop-shop”or in the plaza. You can buy hom-made foods in the market. Dos or Donts The Hungarians doesn’t like it when the tourists confuse Budapest with Bukarest so if somebody confuse then it is improper.There aren’t many rules in Hungary. And for example if you chew a gum in the lesson it is improper too.

  10. Sport The olympic games take pleace every 4 years and the Hungarian take part in most of olympic games. We good at swimming, waterpolo, kajak -kenuing, handball, hammer throw. And we won 3 gold, 5 silver, 2 bronz medals the last olimpic games.

  11. The Hungarian are not good at football now, but long time ago the „The gold team ” won the olympic games in 1952. and they were the second in the World ChampionShip in 1953.

  12. The Hungarian waterpolo team won the last 3 olympic games,

  13. And the swimmers are very good too.
