  2. Possible Careers Teacher -Being a teacher is my plan b if I do not become a video game programmer -learn different subjects depending on what you teach -must be able to comprehend and help others comprehend complex concepts -must be a clear instructor and very organized -minimum education Bachelors degree Author (side job) -This would be a side job being that they only make anywhere from 5,000$-12,500$ a year which is not enough to live off of -unless you sell at least half a million copies which at about 10%is 50,000 $which is under what the average household makes 60,000$ -technically speaking you could do it without a degree but then it might be hard to find a publisher that will except you -must research most of what their writing. -usually takes a year to research and write book, edit, find a publisher willing to publish it,then making the copies and finally publishing it -usually have university degree Video Game programmer -when it comes to games are the brains of the operation. -must be able to comprehend, write and memorize thousands of lines of code. -must be analytical ,patient ,and able to correct inaccurate or flawed code. -test code over and over again until correct or to standards -all code is based on mathematics and/or logic -Must know the different types of code -minimum education college diploma or university degree

  3. $$$ Salary $$$ $$$ Salary $$$ Novelist / Author Teacher Game programmer -Teacher make anywhere from $30,000 - $88,000 -under 40,000$ is really low pay and over 65,000$ is a really high pay in my opinion. -Again a number of things can affect pay but I don’t think there’s any reason someone should be getting less then 40,000$ unless someone else is being over paid which is not a good reason -Unless the school or district doesn’t have a lot of money to spare -the average salary is about 50,000$ -Top 10% 88,000$ -Bottom 10% 30,000$ -Recommended as a side job -unknown authors can make 4,000-12,000 a year -Less if the book barely sells -how much you make depends on a few things -did you publish it yourself or let a publisher do it? -If you went with a publisher what share of the profits do you get (10%? 8 percent is most common) -how long did it take you to research ,write , and publish the book? Even if you made 500,000 copies at an more then average rate you may only get 50,000$ a year tops -If you publish it yourself you will make more per book then with a publisher but you may not sell as many copies -Unless your someone like Steven king who makes millions but in reality not every writer makes as much as for example Steven king -In fact he made 34 million$ on 4 books alone. 8.5 million per book Salary Annual Game Programmer Salary $38,000 – over 110,000$ Which is a huge range From barley living to really successful -Where you live -Depending on which company you work for -How successful they are -How successful you are -How much experience do you have -How long have you worked for the company -How many employees there are -How much money the company makes -The companies profits -Do you get a share or set amount -Are they on budget cuts -are you a junior or lead programmerhave you gotten raises or deductions? -How much is the person in charge will to take out to pay everyone else -Demand for programmers

  4. Game maker code Here’s simple game maker code Which may not be the same kind of code that you learn but here’s just simple code for left and right code press_right key character_obj jump to X5 relativepress_left key character_obj jump to X-5 relativerelease_right key set character_obj speed to 0release_left key set character_obj speed to 0  And that’s without adding a walking animation which yes requires more code. And yes I did say that is only simple code. This is very simple code. Imagine writing going over rewriting and correcting hundreds of lines every day plus it has to be tested over and over and over until its correct.
