WiFi RFP Update - (P17870) WiFi Vendor Comparison and RFP • RFP complete as of 04-May-2012 • Rollout plan complete and communicated • Access point placement training complete • Hardware STR applied for – expected 11-OCT-2012 • Engineering Package for controllers – Complete and approved, additional engineering package for the actual installation needs to be completed • Controller purchase requisitions are placed – Installed and working HQ,ADC,RMDC,JAPAN, SG-almost complete. EMEA,AU,India may have to wait until after freeze. • Controller installation guide – completed (12-Oct-2012) • Complete pilot sites – in work • Change existing WiFi hardware standards for other locations – Complete • Work with authentication and management team on new design and start pilot – in work • Order other infrastructure components - this includes authentication and management system components • Authentication design package into CSARB and STR – in work • Authentication design package into technical review • Change WiFi design standard • Order authentication and management equipment • Install authentication and management equipment • Implement new authentication method into production
