Entry task: “Self Portrait” On the provided green sheet: • Write your first name in large letters in the middle of the sheet • In the upper left hand corner draw or symbolize what is important to you. • In the bottom left hand corner draw or use symbols to represent what your goals are. • In the top right hand corner draw what you think Earth Science is about • On the bottom right symbolize what you are good at.

  3. Share with your table Each person will have a chance to talk about themselves to their table group. Show your group your self portrait. Describe to the group what you have expressed, make sure to let them ask questions. ON the back of the sheet answer the following (please remember IDK and nothing are not acceptable answers) • Who in the group did you have something in common with? What was it you shared in common? • What was something you found out that was interesting about another person?
