WebEx Part 1 This session will be recorded and SHARED Dr. Libby VagnoniDirector Professional Development Technology and Wellness Miluska Taboada, MAInstructional Developer II • Join a WebEx session • Recognize WebEx requirements to successfully join a session • Utilize WebEx communication tools to actively engage in a session • Explore the WebEx session from multiple mobile devices : iPads, androids and smart phones Outcomes: Take learning to a new level.  Whether you are faculty or staff and regardless of your comfort level, experience collaborative and engaging online training or meeting sessions using video, audio, multimedia, sharing and feedback tools in real time.

Systems requirements to successfully participate in a WebExsession • Computer or mobile device with a stable internet connection • WebEx plug-in (Browser specific) • WebEx app AppStore (Apple)PlayStore (Google) • Please note that some features are not available when using a mobile device • VoIP, participants must have a working microphone and speakers. Turn on speakers. • Or office desktop phone system • For today, participate by chat/IM • Webcam for video sharing

Join WebEx session • Go to: htpp://cpcc.webex.com. • Under Live Sessions find our WebEx Part 1 session and click Join.Type your name, email and password WebEx. • Upon entering test audio – • **The host has muted all microphones temporarily. 4. If you do not have audio, you can participate via Chat and QA.5. Play with chat features until all participants are present.

Now it’s your turn • Explore using Group Activity - Breakout Rooms with preselected groups. • Person with the ball is the host and will draw a state. • Participants respond by chat. • Host will pass the ball/host rights to another team member by selecting a name and then click “Make Presenter”. • Continue to draw, guess and pass presenter rights until time has expired.

  9. What did you learn today? Go to the Whiteboard. Click and then insert the cursor anywhere in the whiteboard. 2. Type a word or phrase and then select another tool to post your response.
