ACTION PLAN • Increase in Board Directors (sponsors) • Two new organizations to be approached in 2011 for sponsorship • Should the negotiations for sponsorship be successful automatically the representatives become a board member • To be acknowledged as the only official science Fair • The Deputy Minister of Science and Technology has endorsed our project in 2010 as the official South African youth Science Fair competition • Department of Basic Education incorporates inquiry base research into curriculum • Department of Education is in the process of changing the school curriculum • Under Negotiation

ACTION PLAN • Written commitment from stakeholders • Started negiotions with stakeholders (government and businesses ) regarding mentorship programmes • Formal written agreement to be finalized in 2011. • An increase in the number of schools by 10% per annum • Investigations are under way to have more regions in areas that are as yet not served • Higher standard of projects at regional, national and international science fairs • It will now be compulsory for all projects selected for national and international participation to be upgraded and where possible mentors to be appointed.
