Goals & Objectives Enhance knowledge and experience of the registrar to utilize the Internet for abstracting; researching cancer-related information; locating & using registry standards; tumor board and cancer committee support; and enabling the registrar to assist physicians, medical students and HIM professionals with identification & use of registry-associated resources that can be accessed via the Internet.

  3. Goals & Objectives Provide participants with an overview of the latest & coolest web-based and other electronic tools and resources readily available to the registrar to help with day-to-day abstracting and registry operations. Participants will be asked to navigate key cancer registry related websites, download important help programs and become familiar with web-based and other electronic tools currently available to everybody.
