  6. LKG & EU - 2008 Introducing the European Language Portfolio (2003)‏ What is the European Language Portfolio? It is a systemised collection of documents. It keeps track of the language learner's experiences and competences, even those which cannot be entered in the official school report. The "Biography and Dossier" is in harmony with the "Common European Framework of References".

  7. LKG & EU - 2008 Project SCALE (2003-2004)‏ SCALE is a research project supported by the European Community involving 6 countries: The United Kingdom, France, Finland, Portugal and Hungary. The research aims at devising an internet-based tool which enhances the development of the ability to debate with students between the age of 16 and 18 and their ability to use it in their studies. The name of the program is SCALE ("mérleg" in Hungarian), which symbolises the consideration of ideas on both sides. The name of the project comes from an English acronym: Internet-based Support Collaborative Argumentation-based LEarning in secondary schools.

  8. LKG & EU - 2008 „Whatnots”, 2004-2005 Our school entered the „eLearning Awards 2004” contest with 15 (!) self-developed digital curricula. In response to the invitation of XIV. Beogradska Gimnazija 8 pupils took part in a two-day (nov. 24-27) human rights seminar in Belgrad. The school joined the Spring Day in Europe 2005 program, organized by the EU member countries' Ministries of Education We joined the eTwinning program, aiming to enhance cooperation of partner schools.

  9. LKG & EU - 2008 Measurement of Eratosthenes, 2005 Pupils of our institution – joining the GLOBE Europe program – executed Eratosthenes' measurement of the Earth's circumference in May 2005, celebrating the Year of Physics. The partner institution was Finnfjordbotnvidaregaende skole, Norway.

  10. LKG & EU - 2008 EBC*L examination center (2005)‏ European Business Competence*Licence EBC*L is an international initiative promoting business and economic knowledge in Europe. The goal of the training is for the trainee to obtain uniform knowledge of the aformentioned fields, regardless of the country where he took his course and exam.

LKG & EU - 2008 The GRID project (2006-)‏ Growing Interest in the Development of Teaching Science The GRID project, funded within the framework of the EU Socrates Programme, has the objective of creating a network for the exchange of good practice in the field of science teaching in Europe, at the level of decision makers and of schools directly involved in innovation and experimentation in the broad area of science education (including technology and mathematics). The GRID project aims to identify as many innovative projects as possible, but it relies on individuals involved in these projects detailing the innovative projects involved.

  16. LKG & EU - 2008 „Whatnots”, 2006-2007 With 22 participants from 11th grade a reading circle has been formed, within the scope of english faculty. We're taking part in the Reader Development project started by the Ministry of Education and the British Council. Joined CALIBRATE (Calibrating eLearning in Schools) project, with 7 other countries. The project aims to support the exchange and usage of collaborative educational content. The school's ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) interrogator licence is on its way.
