There will also be a Monthly reading log that requires your child to read 15 minutes each night. If you miss a night, you can easily add the time to another night. An incentive reward will go home to any child who returns their completed reading log with a parents signature in a timely manner. Dismissal If there is going to be a change in your child's normal daily dismissal routine please send in a written note to detail the change.

  10. Birthdays In an effort to keep children with food allergies safe, and to promote healthy food choices, Quarterfield does not allow students to bring in birthday snacks. If you would like to recognize your child’s birthday you may have your child bring in small items such as pencils and erasers for the class. (We currently have 25 students in our classroom.) Water Students may bring a water bottle to keep on their desk. Please make sure bottle is only filled with water. Wednesday Folder Every Wednesday students will have a specific folder for important papers and graded work. This folder should be reviewed and returned every Thursday morning. Extra clothing Please send in a ziploc bag with your child’s name on it containing an extra set of clothes in case your child has an accident at school. Otherwise we have to call you and have you come to school with clothes.
