Bonding & GroundingWhy do it and when? • Buildup of static electricity may cause a spark that could result in an explosion. • Eliminates the buildup of static electricity & allows it to dissipate to the ground. • Applies to liquids with a flash point < 100° F • Includes certain non-metallic containers. • More info – 29 CFR 1910.106
