How to flash SW packages • put the module on adapter board • connect the 3 RS232 DB9 connectors to a computer • connect the power supply • set switch 7 of switch field 2 to on • press button 1 and 3 to reset module • open SiRFFlash on the connected computer • setup the used serial port • enable “erase whole flash” • chose SW package to flash • click “OK” • set switch 7 of switch field 2 to off • press button 1 and 3 to reset module XT55 Evaluation Kit, 08.11.2014

Use with standard SW package • put the module on adapter board • connect the 3 RS232 DB9 connectors to a computer • connect the antenna to to XT55 antenna connectors • set the two position switch (AVL/TCP – standard) to standard • connect the power supply • press button 1 and 3 to reset module XT55 Evaluation Kit, 08.11.2014
