  3. Houston Sports Collectors Show Intern Duties At the Show • Authentications • Athlete Host • Athlete Driver • Exhibitor Check-In • Logistics at the Show: Including maintaining autograph quality and the correct quantity. • Set Up/Take Down

Jeff’s Objectives • To gain an understanding of how the overall basis of the Tristar Productions business is run • To gain a valuable understanding of the financing aspect of our shows • To have an understanding of the communication and language of business through having everyday conversations with my supervisors • To be able to make contributions in weekly meetings • To be able to understand the logistics department process

  6. Jeff’s Daily Activities • Logistics: Shipping, Packaging, and Receiving • MiLB and Pro Debut • Inventory and Navision • Beckett & E-Commerce • Customer Service: Phone Duty & placing orders • Outsourcing

  7. Jeff's Project Description • Take Inventory on over 250+ inventories • Create Descriptions on inventories in Navision System • Figure out dimensions of items, shipping weights and costs, and easiest ways to ship items to retailers and wholesalers

Eric's Objectives • Enhance the current business operations with current work experiences • Learn to run a sports enterprise on a day to day basis • Assist management and sales team in meeting objectives • Develop contacts through other businesses • Gan experience in marketing, advertising, and web based business.

  9. Eric's Daily Activities • Authentications • E-Commerce • TNA Wrestling Cards • MiLB Baseball Cards • Beckett Marketplace • Navision Inventory System

  10. Eric's Project Description • Create working and increased traffic for Myspace Page • Analyze and create Minor League Baseball Cards for Tristar product line • Analyze past baseball card trends

  11. Edward’s Objectives • To gain experience in a sport business environment. • To learn more about the sport industry. • To learn how to plan and execute a collectors show • To learn how the logistics department is run and maintained.

  12. Edward’s Daily Activities • Logistics • Packaging Products • Inventory • Celebrity Relations • Inputting data into Navision • Filing athletes paperwork • Customer Service • Returning and answering phone calls

  13. Edward’s Project Description • Analyze the Logistics process at our show. (San Francisco)‏ • Determine what we can do to make things run smoother and less hectic.
