  2. Slonim district is located in the south of Grodno Region. Farmland occupies about 51.3% of the region. The region specializes in meat and milk industry, flax growing, poultry cultivation, grain, fodder and potato farming. There are four agricultural companies, ten cooperative societies, a farm and a battery farm in the region.

  8. Belarus is a blue-eyed country As there are a lot of rivers and lakes. Breeding of carp is also developed in our region. One of our enterprises Is going to begin breeding of trout.

  10. Growing potatoes which is called our second bread is very important for our agriculture

  13. There is an agricultural firm “Ryschytsy” that specializes in vegetable growing. Besides, a lot of people have kitchen gardens and dachas where they grow tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, garlic, cabbages, pepper.
