  6. Traits needed to be more responsible Honesty Learn from history Self-discipline Courage Integrity Reliability Seek solutions, awareness

  7. Tips for being more Responsible One of the first steps towards being responsible is practicing discipline. Understand the fact that responsibility has to be earned; it is not something that you are entitled to. The most probable reason that you are not given some new and challenging responsibilities may be because you do not prove yourself worth in the present ones.

  8. Tips for being more Responsible (cont.) Learn to cope up with problems. Learn to be answerable for your deeds. Making excuses only causes you to look untrustworthy. Know the relevance of service. If you wish to improve your life, do not give into selfishness. Don’t Blame Others Always have an optimistic approach to life. Do not visualize yourself as a helpless victim, who cannot do anything to change the circumstances.

  9. Tips for being more Responsible (cont.) Making choices or taking decisions and living with them, is termed as taking responsibility of your own actions. Value your words and yourself. If you commit something to someone, just do the work and do not let the other person down. Never be afraid of making mistakes. They are great learning experiences. Learn to acknowledge your mistakes, rather than justifying yourself in every situation.
