  2. Drought • Drought can be partly prevented by teaching citizens to NOT over-farm the land and to use proper irrigation techniques. We can also fight drought by using desalination, crop rotation, treating and purifying sewage, redirecting rivers, and regulating the use of water by the government and citizens.

  3. Deforestation • I would fix deforestation by implementing strict regulations and laws regarding how often, how much, and where loggers can cut down trees. Also, they would be required to use a “slash-and-char” technique, which would create biochar that will enrich the soil. I would also send out workers to plant trees in areas that are being logged.

  4. Overgrazing • Overgrazing can be prevented

  5. Poor Farming Techniques • Poor farming techniques can be solved by providing incentives for farmers who follow the proper techniques.
