2. What it is. • Urban Sprawl is the outward spreading of a city. • It usually happens when a city needs more room. • It can happen when a cities economy is good. • Animals that live in the forests lose their homes.

3. What it is. • It kills a lot of wildlife that are in the area. • It can happen when a city’s economy is good. • It is not good because the animals loose their homes and they don’t have a place to live. • It also makes cars the main way of transportation and then more pollution occurs.

4. Cause of Urban Sprawl. • Urban Sprawl has many causes. • One cause is that a lot of people move to the city, so they expand it. • Another reason is that the city’s economy is doing good and they think expanding will get them more money.

5. Ways to stop it. • There are not a lot of ways to stop Urban Sprawl. • One way would be to limit growth in areas. • We could also make the cities more compact so that animals don’t loose their homes. • If it does happen in your area you can also walk more and not drive cars a lot.
