  2. INTRODUCTION • PIPENET has its origins at the University of Cambridge in the 70’s • Computer Aided Design Centre (AVEVA) bought the rights to PIPENET in 1979 • Sunrise Systems was set up in 1985 to specialise in the further development of PIPENET • Head Office in Cambridge, UK

THE PEDIGREE OF PIPENET • PIPENET is the industry standard software product in the U.K. and many other parts of the world • PIPENET has a key role in improving design optimisation and and safety standards in the oil&gas industry • Over 1500 users world-wide • PIPENET has been in industrial use for over 26 years • User Friendliness is high priority • Technical support is a key aspect of company culture
