  2. Definición • Infección Gastro-Intestinal, causada por patógenos Bacterianos, virales, parasitarios.

  3. Introducción • Manifestaciones comunes: • Vómitos y diarrea. • Dolor abdominal y fiebre. • En salud pública: «enfermedades diarreicas»

  4. epidemiología • Ocupan cerca al 20% causas de muerte • muerte frecuentemente asociada a Shigella • Morbilidad frecuente por rotavirus

  5. etiología • Ruta fecal-oral • Comida contaminada • Agua, higiene
