Comparative Pro-inflammatory Cytokine Responses in Human PBMCs to Reference Strains

This figure presents an analysis of the pro-inflammatory transcriptional responses of human PBMCs from two donors, illustrating cytokine levels (IL-12, IFN-γ, and TNF-α) 4 hours post-stimulation with reference and three strains of Propionibacterium freudenreichii (MOI of 10). It shows fold changes in mRNA levels and corresponding cytokine responses measured in pg/ml. The methodology mirrors that previously detailed in Figure 1, emphasizing key immune responses to specific bacterial strains at the 24-hour mark.
