The Diocese of Bathurst invites gifted and talented students to a day dedicated to developing their unique abilities. Through collaborative group work and presentations, students will explore their individual gifts as per Romans 12:6-8. The schedule includes introductions, group activities, and a sharing session with parents and teachers. This enriching experience aims to foster a sense of community, reflection, and understanding of how to use one's gifts to uplift others, culminating in a joint prayer to acknowledge God’s call to be responsible stewards of our talents.

Gifted for Others God our Father, you have called us as your children in Christ. Open our eyes to the wonders this life sets before us. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Romans 12:6-8 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with yourfaith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
Reflect • A gift is special but it is a challenge to us to ensure we use it well. • What is my gift? • How do I use it to help others?
Where and when did this event take place? • Who were the key players? • Why did this event occur? Give the perspectives of both sides of the conflict.
