Viral Infection and Mutant Protein Stability in N. Benthamiana Plants

Western blot analysis depicts the accumulation of mutant protein Δ(194-201) during viral infection in N. benthamiana plants compared to wild-type CP. Despite an 8-amino acid deletion, the stability of the mutant protein remained unchanged. Total protein loading was confirmed via Ponceau staining.

Despite the deletion of 8 amino acids, the stability of the mutant Δ(194-201) was not altered. Equal total protein loading was cheked by Ponceau staining.
