Literary Words you need to know- • Allegory: the expression by means of symbolic fictional figures and actions of truths or generalizations about human existence: a symbolic representation • Authors who use allegory do so in the form of an exaggerated metaphor. • EX: • Allegory • The Tortoise and the Hare • Allegorical names • Grace • Deacon • Destiny

Create- Create your own Allegorical Name for this unit- You can write this on all your papers as long as you put your last name.  • Be creative- come up with a word that represents you • It may be an adjective- Use the thesaurus! • Simplistic • Creative • It may be a short phrase • Meta World Peace • Big Foot
