  4. End of Class Activity: • Hero’s Journey: Departure “Comic Book” • Draw and caption boxes “comics” to depict each step on the departure stage of the Hero’s Journey

  5. This is a sample comic for all stages of the Hero’s Journey—students only need a comic for the departure stages: the call, refusal, aid, crossing the threshold and belly of the whale.
