ORD Media Process • “When a reporter calls” • Remember you’re in control • Defer an interview to properly prepare and inform your supervisor /Communications POC  ORD News Director so that I can: • Quickly acknowledge the request • Coordinate: • Program office for policy; • Regional office for implementation or enforcement • OPA handles “majors” • Facilitate with the appropriate expert • Prepare the spokesperson – main messages
