  2. Birth • Queen Elizabeth Tudor was born on Sunday September 7th, 1533 in Greenwich palace. She was the only surviving child of Henry VIII from his second queen, Anne Boleyn. Elizabeth's father Henry VIII and mother Anna Bolyen, were disappointed being as she was a female baby. Henry VIII wanted a son. Henry VIII had went from wife to wife looking to have a baby boy but they all ended up having girls so he had them executed.

Life • Queen Elizabeth was born in 1533 and died in 1603 • Queen Elizabeth became queen in 1558 after her sister Mary • Elizabeth never married anyone, she stayed a single queen for her whole life • She had 2 siblings Mary, and Edward • During her reign she had no army even though she had many powerful enemies around her

  4. Family Elizabeth had 2 siblings: Mary who was 16 years older, and Edward. Her father Henry VIII had six wives because none of them could bear a boy. He was with his second when Elizabeth was born. Her name was Anna Bolyen. She was executed when Elizabeth was 3 years old. Henry Anna Mary Edward

Her Reign • Queen Elizabeth managed to become queen when she was 25 in 1558. • She ruled by herself she had no husband • She had no army even though she had many powerful enemies near her • She ruled until 1603 when she was 69 died from old age along with Leicester, Walshingham, Burghley, and Essex • She was a lot nicer to her people than her sister Mary was • Everyone doubted she wouldn’t be able to rule long without a husband but she managed to prove everyone wrong by staying in power for 45 years
