Reminders and Deadlines • Application due 11:59pm EST October 13th, 2017 • Only applications submitted through CCIP will be reviewed (no paper copies) • The Application Planning Worksheet is to be used only as an aid; this is NOT what you will be submitting! • Allow plenty of time to enter data in CCIP – absolutely no exceptions after the due date • Once submitted to NC DPI, cannot submit additional information • Please refer to Application Guidance document CCIP Training Module 1 - Introduction

4. System Requirements • Internet Access • Microsoft Office products are used throughout • Recommended Browsers • Internet Explorer • Mozilla Firefox • Safari (Mac) • GOOGLE Chrome • Valid NCID User ID • Needed to create a CCIP account in Production CCIP Training Module 1 - Introduction

Accessing CCIP • Today we are using the Training database • What happens in Training, stays in Training • cciptest.schools.nc.gov/training • To start application process in Production (not Training) • You must have a valid NCID user account • You must have an account set up in CCIP • Once accessed, create a bookmark for the NCCCIP application PRODUCTION SITE: http://ccip.schools.nc.gov/ CCIP Training Module 1 - Introduction

6. How Do I Get an NCID? (Non-LEAs) Go to https://ncid.nc.gov, click on Register CCIP Training Module 1 - Introduction

8. How Do I Get an NCID? (Non-LEAs) • Required Fields • Requested ID • First and Last Name • Email Address • Phone Number • Street Address (City, State and Zip) • Password (minimum 8 characters, rules on page) CCIP Training Module 1 - Introduction

9. How Do I Get an NCID? (Non-LEAs) • Check your email! • After verification, go onto the NCID site and choose your password reset questions and responses. • If you forget your password or get locked out, DPI cannot help you. CCIP Training Module 1 - Introduction
