In the week of November 14-18, 2011, students will explore various energy resources essential for our planet. They will learn about renewable and nonrenewable resources such as coal, oil, natural gas, nuclear power, and renewables like wind and solar energy. Through interactive activities including vocabulary puzzles, graphic organizers, and collaborative poster projects, students will evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of each energy type. The week will culminate in presentations designed to foster an understanding of responsible energy use and the importance of sustainability.
