  5. S5/6 College Applications On Thursday we will be running the college application workshops in the Library. Please make sure Miss McWaters has your name if you want to go to this. Otherwise you will be marked absent (and you may also lose your EMA money!) If you have not yet collected a mock application pack, collect the 3 documents outside Miss McWaters office and leave your name on the list. Remember, Miss Murphy has asked you to complete as much of the form as possible before you attend this. She will help with any gaps but it is YOUR form, please take the time to work on it. Career Advisor Could the following pupils please register at tutor time then make their way to the Library to collect an appointment card for today’s career appointments: Career Academy Could Shawnie Wright and Cameron Bell please report to Miss Murphy’s office (beside the staff room on 2nd floor) after you have registered at tutor time.

S5/6 TOP UP Wednesday 21st January Periods 1 and 2 All UCAS candidates are reminded to meet at 9am sharp to continue the Top Up sessions with Glasgow Uni (Please note there are some changes to the room allocations) Group 1 (Gordon’s group): English Room 8 (Mrs Douglas’s room) Group 2 (Ellie’s group): ML 6 (Mrs Auld’s room) Group 3 remain in ML7 Ready to Succeed – Employability Programme for Summer Leavers Do you want to leave school in June? We have 20 places for S4-6 on this employability training programme. It will teach you some of the skills you require to be successful on your road to employment. You will also access ‘Financial Awareness’ delivered by Money Matters and take part in a healthy living workshop. Last year, this course helped a number of pupils with their College and Apprenticeship application forms and many of the young people were accepted onto courses. Please see Miss McWaters

We have 20 places for S4-6 on this employability training programme. It will teach you some of the skills you require to be successful on your road to employment.
