  3. South Africa welcomes 25 th Annual Conference Is it safe to go to Stellenbosch? Yes, it is safe to go to Stellenbosch. Especially as most of us will stay at the venue (which is protected). Also If you stay at one of the guesthouses in Stellenbosch, everything is safe. At night it is recommended to stay at the main roads as these are provided with lights.

People arriving in South Africa from a Yellow Fever zone (some parts of South-America & West-Africa) must have a valid international yellow fever inoculation certificate. Infants under the age of one year are exempt. (Malaria if you plan to visit Kruger National Park.)

IMPORTANT: A law has been passed stipulating that all visitors to South Africa are required to have a minimum of two blank pages in their passport to enable the entry visa to be issued.
