Operational Structure of the APEC Tel • Each Steering Group is run by a Convenor and Deputy Convenor who are representatives of economies who have volunteered to help lead the Tel. • These offices rotate every two years. At the end of the rotation the deputy convenor assumes the convenorship and a new economy is selected to perform the deputy convenor role. • The Convenors are responsible for management of their Steering groups, development of programs and initiatives in their area, and reports to the APEC Tel Plenary on progress in their area of responsibility. • PECC has been asked to support these offices by supplying regional private sector input on an on-going basis to their work

Operational Structure of the PECC Liaison Offices • Representatives of a PECC Committee in each economy that currently holds a management position in the APEC Tel would be asked to liaison with the designated APEC representative to ensure that PECC is aware of activities in APEC and able to respond when needed. • If there is no-one available to serve as a domestic liaison officer the PTF will solicit a liaison from another member economy • Reports and request for action will be posted on the PTF web-page and through the PTF secretariat. • Liaisons for offices outside of APEC would be asked to serve the same function. • Government, Industry, and academic representatives are all elegible for the Liaison position.
