Integration of UK Research Infrastructures into EPOS: NERC/BGS Collaboration Overview

The UK Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and British Geological Survey (BGS) are committed to integrating their national research infrastructures into the European Plate Observing System (EPOS). This partnership, featuring key contacts John Ludden, David Kerridge, and Russ Evans, will leverage facilities like the UK National Seismic Network. With informal but high-level commitment from the UK government and funding agencies, our aim is to enhance collaboration with potential university partners like BIGF. The national body coordinating ESFRI initiatives is to be determined.
