  5. Ethical leadership can help to prevent an organization’s failure. • There is a notable difference between being a manager and a leader. • Great leaders can be born or made, but usually it is a combination of both. Leadership Questions…Agree or Disagree?

  8. Common Definition: Leadership is a process whereby an individual influences a group of individuals to achieve a common goal. (Peter Northouse, 2007) Leadership Defined

  9. Another Common Definition: Leadership is a process of social influence which maximizes the efforts of others towards achievement of a common goal. (Kruse, 2011) Leadership Defined

  10. Preferred Definition: Leadership is the capacity to influence others by unleashing their power and potential to impact the greater good. (Blanchard et al., 2007) Leadership Defined
