  2. Slide format • Set the page setup • File menu option Page Setup… • Set the page footer • View menu option Header and Footer… • Set the slide layout • View menu option Master option Slide Master • Set the title slide layout • Insert menu option New Title Master Making PowerPoint Slides

  3. Set the page setup • File menu option Page Setup… • Select slide size from the Slides-sized for: box • Select the page layout of the slides and notes, handouts & outline from the Orientation box • When finished click the OK button Making PowerPoint Slides

  4. Set the page footer • View menu option Header and Footer… • Select date and time to update automatically or specify a fixed date • Select slide number • Specify footer text • When finished click Apply to All button Making PowerPoint Slides

  5. Set the slide layout • View menu - option Master - option Slide Master • Change layout as required • Add rectangle to separate the title and body • Edit footer text Making PowerPoint Slides

  6. Set the title slide layout • Insert menu option New Title Master • Change layout as required • Add rectangle to separate the title and body • When finished use View menu to change view Making PowerPoint Slides
