  3. Vote To choose or say what you think a group should do.

  4. Law A rule that helps to make a community a safe place to live.

  5. Local Having to do with a particular city, town or small community.

  6. State Having to do with a particular area of a country.

  7. Federal Having to do with a country

  8. A government runs our country. Citizens of the United States vote for people who make the laws that we all live by. Cities have Local Governments. California has a State Government and the United States has a Federal Government. Each level has different duties to the citizens of this country.
