  9. I. Conversion Factors • To convert between two different units we use a conversion factor. • A conversion factor allows you to convert between units.

  13. II. Multi-Step Conversions • Often times, we need to take multiple steps to convert between units. • We must set up a series of conversion factors so that all unnecessary units cancel one
