  6. Today’s Learning Targets • LT 3.3 – I can discuss how to convert between two related units and explain how to complete a multi – step conversion problem involving unrelated units.

  7. How do we convert between units?

  8. I. Conversion Factors • To convert between two different units we use a conversion factor. • A conversion factor allows you to convert between units.

  12. II. Multi-Step Conversions • Often times, we need to take multiple steps to convert between units. • We must set up a series of conversion factors so that all unnecessary units cancel one
